Term Paper Examination Schedule: Instruction & Evaluation

Dear Fourth Sem Students,

The final viva-voce examination of term paper is scheduled for 16-23 Srawan 2076 during 13:00-17:00. The fourth semester classes before 12:30 will be held as per routine. A few compulsory classes will be arranged before 12:30, it will be informed to you. The schedule for term paper examination is attached herewith.

The instruction for term-paper examination will be as follows:

1.    You will have 10 minutes for presentation.

2.    Presentation should be strictly in English.

     You should prepare presentation following this format:

Title (with your name & examination roll number)

Introduction/Background

Literature Review/Theory

Objectives

Methods

Result & Discussion

Conclusion

References

Acknowledgement

3.    You need to give references (family name of authors, Journal's name, Volume, page and year in bracket), page number (e.g., 1,2,3,….), figure caption (with reference), table caption (if applicable) in each slide.

4.    The equation should maintain standard form (variable should be italic, equation number should be given serially, etc): Copy paste from pdf file (from literature, books, etc) is NOT allowed.

5.    You have submitted your Term Paper in which references are listed. In other words, you have gone through several references to prepare your proposal. You need to bring pdf files all references during your presentation. Evaluators may ask to open particular reference. 

6.     There will be evaluation committee including HoD, Supervisor, external & internal examiners. After the presentation, evaluators will ask questions. You need to listen questions carefully and address it properly.

7.     You all need to attend sharply at 13:00 in the Seminar Hall. There will be attendance for all students. We encourage non-thesis students to participate actively in the program.

8.     You need to prepare presentation file either in 'pptx' or in 'pdf'. The file should be added in the system laptop during attendance of that day. Students are not allowed to use their laptop!
